KACPER HAMILTON STUDIO

Kacper Hamilton created a new brand identity for EGM Cigars and for the launch of their first line of cigars. This included designing a new logo, cigar bands, cedar boxes, packaging, shopping bags, and a holographic warranty seal.

EGM Cigars is the leading online purveyor of premium cigars. Modernising and redefining a somewhat dated industry, EGM’s editorial position champions timeless style, diversity, and “quiet luxury”. Cigar smoking is not just for the elite, and not a luxury that should be gatekept. It is something to be appreciated by everyone.

EGM Cigars is deeply rooted in Cuban tradition. Their journey began many years ago with selling Cuban cigars online, dedicating themselves to curating and offering the finest selections. Witnessing the rising tide of aficionados yearning for premium cigars without the luxury price tag, 2021 became their landmark year. In a bold venture, they allied with the master blenders of the Cibao Valley, in the Dominican Republic, striving to create a line of cigars that rival the very essence of the finest Cubans.

EGM's Dominican cigars, meticulously crafted by hand, pay homage to the centuries-old “totalmente a mano” tradition—a testament to the artistry of manual craftsmanship. Absent of any mechanised processes,

EGM's cigars are the embodiment of pure devotion and skill. Entrusted only to the most seasoned torcedores, each cigar is not just a product, but a hand-woven tapestry of tradition, expertise, and passion.

Every single leaf that goes into EGM's cigars is sourced exclusively from the revered Cibao Valley of the Dominican Republic. This region, renowned for its fertile lands and optimal climate, produces tobacco of unmatched quality and character.  Adding to this, EGM ensures that their filler leaves undergo a meticulous ageing process, resting for a minimum of two years before being rolled.

The EGM Cigars debut collection consists of Media Coronas, Blecos, Tiburones, Encantos, Bravos, Escudos, Robustos and Poderesos.
Each cigar has its own characteristics and accompanying story. One of them is Bleco, which is EGM’s way of paying homage to the city of Havana. The term 'Bleco' is the name locals affectionately give to the Malecón —the picturesque esplanade that stretches along the coast of Cuba's riveting capital.
This unique vitola, aptly named 'Bleco', features the emblematic 'cabeza tumbada' or dropped head, typical of the Cuban '109' cigar format. A prime example of such a feature is showcased in the Diplomaticos Bushido or, most recently, the new Linea Maestra by Partagas.
It has a 52-ring gauge and is 120mm in length. It is an all-rounder for every occasion, and its flavour profile is medium. The cigars are presented in a 10-count box of unvarnished cedar, ideal for storage in your humidor.
EGM Blecos are rolled with the finest tobacco available to the Dominican Republic. Their wrapper, binder and filler leaves come from the most prestigious plantations in the Cibao Valley, a region known worldwide for its exquisite tobacco.

Kacper Hamilton designed a custom holographic warranty seal for EGM Cigars. The seal features kinetic, rotational, and expansion effects and a forensic micro-image. A high-tech security company prints it, and EGM applies it to every cigar box.

In a world that often equates opulence with ostentation, there lies a distinct class of luxury that speaks softly yet resonates deeply.  Quiet luxury is the art of embracing subtlety, finding beauty in restraint, and appreciating the profound elegance of simplicity. It’s not about being the loudest in the room, but rather exuding a timeless grace that captivates silently.
